In our advanced course of Ghazal, students can learn variety of ghazals with in depth details about lyrics, composition, diction and emotion that often employ subtle vocal techniques to convey the nuances of the poetry, creating a captivating and intimate atmosphere.
Pre-Requisite
Basic understanding of semi classical music is expected from student.
They must also have complete Semi Classical Intermediate Modules 1 to 3 courses from Naadgoonj Academy.
Suppose you understand various Semi-Classical compositions reasonably, which you might have learnt from any other teaching institute, in that case, our expert teachers will evaluate your fundamental understanding before admitting you to the Advanced Course via our introductory session.
Outcome
Upon successful completion of Advanced Course, our students will be able to confidently perform a full concert of a particular form of Indian Semi-Classical Music they've learned in front of the audience.
Sessions choice - To start, you may choose between 12 sessions or 36 sessions.
What is covered in 12 sessions -
Session 1 - 12 These sessions cover the theory and vocal practice of total 3 Ghazal composition, focusing on its lyrics, melody (tune), and emotional expression (bhaav). Students will learn to improvise and develop the composition further, with special emphasis on preparing it for a live stage performance.
4 sessions for one composition each, hence in 12 sessions 3 compositions will be mastered.
What is covered in 36 sessions -
Session 1 - 36 These sessions cover the theory and vocal practice of total 9 Ghazal composition, focusing on its lyrics, melody (tune), and emotional expression (bhaav). Students will learn to improvise and develop the composition further, with special emphasis on preparing it for a live stage performance.
4 sessions for one composition each, hence in 36 sessions 9 compositions will be mastered.
Please note - The course is deemed complete only when 36 sessions are fully completed.
